Walk in patient scheduling -If a patient walks in to the front office (Winston, Wilkes, or Greensboro) and it is a patient that we have been trying to schedule for an appointment, we need to try and assist the patient while the patient is physically available when possible. At the very least, try and get scheduling on the phone to schedule if the front desk is unable to do so. I understand that running all of scheduling through 1 person has bandwidth limits, which are NOT related to the ability of our staff, and it's quite possible that scheduling is going to be unavailable at that moment. In such instances, if you are at the front desk, please get a lead clinician involved to look at calendar and make an appointment right then so we do not have to delay the process longer than it needs to be.
