If a patient is currently receiving home health nursing services, staying in a skilled nursing facility, or admitted to a hospital, we are unable to deliver their product or bill their insurance.
Posters with this information are displayed throughout all three offices. These also remind patients that:
"If you have a home health nurse coming to your home or you are in skilled nursing, please let our receptionist know."
Jordan has prepared a script for us to use when responding to patients in these situations:
"Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill your order at this time because it falls under a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or home health episode.
To have our devices covered by insurance, you will need to obtain them through your facility or home health provider. However, if you prefer, you may proceed with us directly as a self-pay option. Please let us know how you would like to proceed."
